The Manley family started in the boiler industry in 1948, when my grandfather, John Manley retuned from the Army.  After several successful years in the boiler industry, John sought a new direction. In 1984, he partnered with his son, Marvin Manley, to launch Manley Boiler Repair in Long Beach, California. 

 As a proud third-generation boilermaker, I’ve grown up immersed in the world of boilers. My grandfather and father laid the foundation for our family legacy, establishing themselves as leading figures in the industry through their unmatched work ethic and deep knowledge. They were instrumental in launching several thriving boiler companies, and their commitment to quality has inspired me every step of the way.

From a young age, I was captivated by the craft, absorbing valuable lessons from my father while helping with our family business. My journey took me to Manley’s Boiler, where I honed my skills and gained insight into the business side of the trade. The most vital lesson I learned was the significance of a steadfast work ethic. This principle of integrity has been my compass, guiding my achievements and shaping my future.

Building relationships is at the core of the boiler business. Trust is essential, and when we connect with customers on a personal level, we foster open communication and long-lasting partnerships. I believe that when clients feel valued, they are more inclined to engage and trust our expertise in meeting their needs.

In 2016, I took a leap of faith and moved my family to Texas, where I was pleasantly surprised to find the Manley brand held in high regard. Inspired by the legacy of my forebears, I am committed to continuing our family tradition.
